Two-Factor Authentication & Passkeys

BSCpro supports two ways to add a second layer of security to your account on top of your password: an authenticator app code (TOTP) and a passkey. You can set up one or both. This article walks through enabling each one and signing in once they're turned on. Before you start: where these settings live Both features are managed from your Profile page: click your avatar in the top right, choose your profile, and stay on the first tab, Profile. Two-Factor Authentication and Passkeys each have their own button next to Change Password. Setting up two-factor authentication (authenticator app) Two-factor authentication (2FA) uses a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds, generated by an app on your phone. Even if someone learns your password, they can't sign in without that code too. 1. Install an authenticator app on your phone if you don't already have one (see the list below). 2. On your Profile page, click Set Up 2FA. 3. A window opens with a QR code and a manual entry key. Open your authenticator app and either scan the QR code, or choose "enter a setup key manually" and type in the key shown. 4. Your authenticator app will start showing a 6-digit code for your BSCpro account. Type that code into the 6-digit code field and click Verify & Enable. Recommended authenticator apps Any standard TOTP authenticator app works. A few popular options: - Google Authenticator — iPhone (App Store) · Android (Google Play) - Microsoft Authenticator — iPhone (App Store) · Android (Google Play) - Twilio Authy — iPhone (App Store) · Android (Google Play) - 1Password (if you already use it as a password manager, it can store TOTP codes too) — iPhone (App Store) · Android (Google Play) Save your backup codes As soon as 2FA is turned on, BSCpro shows you 10 backup codes. Each one can be used once, instead of your authenticator app, if you ever lose your phone. Save them somewhere safe right now — they're only ever shown this one time. A password manager or a printed copy in a safe place both work well. If you run out or lose them, you can generate a fresh set by disabling and re-enabling 2FA. Setting up a passkey A passkey lets you sign in using your device's fingerprint, face recognition, or screen lock (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a physical security key) instead of typing a password at all. It's built on the same technology banks and major tech companies use, and it can't be phished the way a password can. 1. On your Profile page, click Enable Passkey (or Manage Passkeys if you already have one). 2. Give this device a name, like "Work Laptop" or "iPhone," so you can recognize it later if you ever need to remove it. 3. Click Add a Passkey, and follow your browser or device's prompt to confirm with your fingerprint, face, or screen lock. You can register more than one passkey — for example, one for your laptop and one for your phone — and remove any of them later from the same window. Note: passkeys require a modern browser and won't be available on very old browsers or devices. Signing in with 2FA or a passkey Signing in with your password + an authenticator code 1. Go to the login page and enter your username/email and password as usual, then click Log in. 2. If you have 2FA enabled, you'll be taken to a "Enter your verification code" screen. Open your authenticator app and type the current 6-digit code into the boxes. 3. Click Verify to finish signing in. Lost access to your authenticator app? Click "Having trouble? Use a backup code" on that same screen and enter one of the 10 backup codes you saved during setup instead. Signing in with a passkey 1. Go to the login page and click Sign in with a passkey — you don't need to type your username or password first. 2. Confirm with your device's fingerprint, face recognition, or screen lock when prompted. That's it — a passkey satisfies both your password and your 2FA code in one step, so there's nothing else to enter. Turning 2FA or passkeys off From the same Profile page, click Disable 2FA (you'll be asked to confirm with your current password) or open Manage Passkeys and click Remove next to any passkey you no longer want to use.

Security, Privacy and Sharing

We take privacy very seriously and include in our privacy policy that we do not share, sell, or trade any of your information. Additionally, we encrypt all data on our servers and all communications to and from your systems and our servers are encrypted. Everything is password protected and we take great pains to keep our systems up to date and secure. As for your team, there is no method for anyone to see how many or who is in your team. However, as the system is now, you and your team's names will come up in certain search results like when searching for a name to split business with or searching for a trainer to assign to a "Request Trainer", etc.

Is BSCpro secure?

One thing you will notice on all sensitive pages in BSCpro is the green "https" in front of the domain name. The 's' indicates "secure" and it means that all communications between your device and our servers is encrypted. It also gives you assurance that the site you are looking at really is us. We use a 3rd party authority to confirm that we are who we say we are. We use the same level of encryption that your bank or the US military uses. The second thing we do is encrypt all data as it is stored on our servers. Everything on our servers is encrypted so even if someone was to physically steal the hard drives, the data would be useless to them. Our servers are also housed in a very secure data center with around the clock monitoring with very restricted access. Third, all of your private data can only be accessed with your username and password. Even we at BSCpro can't lookup your password. So if you lose it, you will have to reset it. We also restrict who in the company can access accounts for troubleshooting and helping you and even then, we hide certain sensitive information so even BSCpro employees can't see it. We make every effort to keep your data safe while balancing that with a user friendly interface. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or the little help bubble in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. We will also never share any of your information without your consent. You read our privacy policy for more information on how we keep your data private.

How do I transfer event tickets?

Please note that these instructions are for ticket purchasers. If you are an event coordinator, you can transfer tickets from the "Purchases" page in your Big Event Builder section. The easiest way to transfer your tickets, is to look for the transfer link at the bottom of your ticket confirmation email. Otherwise, simply go to the page that you originally went to in order to purchase the tickets. It will look something like: bscpro.com/event/event-name Pro tip: you can go directly to the transfer page by typing bscpro.com/transfer/event-name (again, of course, putting your event shortcut name in place of "event-name"). Scroll down to the bottom of the ticket purchase form and you will see a link that says "Already purchased tickets? Click here to transfer them." It looks like this: Simply click that, and you will need to enter two pieces of data to lookup your tickets and confirm they are really yours: You can find this information in your ticket purchase confirmation email. If you did not receive a confirmation email please check your spam folder. (You can also try searching 'bscpro'.) If you still can't find the confirmation information, ask your event coordinator to check your ticket and resend the confirmation (making sure that they have your correct email on file). They can also just look up the information or manually transfer the ticket for you. Once you have entered the information correctly, you will see a table like the following. It will list out all of your ticket purchases for this event that were made with your same email address. You only have to confirm one of the events to get them all. In the example above, it shows two separate ticket purchases, which is why there are two separate ticket ids. You should also note that the first field is grayed out, which means that it cannot be assigned. Your very first ticket cannot be reassigned. And you can only assign any other ticket one time. If you need an exception to that rule, contact your event coordinator. It is up to each individual event coordinator to set their policy on ticket transfers. After you enter a new email into a field and click "Transfer" an email confirmation will be sent to the new email. Also note that you can always go in and change the SMD field, which is the last field. That is simply to allow for corrections if the incorrect SMD was selected during purchase or transfer.

What is the difference between a free and paid account?

When we designed BSCpro, we started from the perspective of a "builder" someone who is recruiting and growing. So we create a free tier that allows new people to get started with everything they need to plug in and join your team. All of the free functions are available for everyone on both the free mobile app (except for contacts, but it's coming soon) and the website. There are five primary functions of a free account: 1. Add guests to a guest's list and check your list on the web too 2. Trainer Request's 3. Add new recruits to the recruit tracker page 4. Add Contacts to a Contact list 5. Access the chat functionality (allows you to accept/reject or discuss TRAINER REQUESTs) You also get all of the other premium functionality for free for the first 30 days. Trainees get 90 days free so they have plenty of time to learn the ropes and decide if they want to use the premium features as well.

How do I see my guest list or contact names on my mobile app.

You cannot yet see your contact list or guest list on the mobile app. For the time being, you can use the mobile app to add information into your system only. But we are working on bringing the full guest list, contact list, and all other desktop features to the mobile app in the future. So for now, you will have to login at BSCpro.com to be able to see and modify your full lists.

I Can't See my Guest List on The App

So, here's the deal. The app is still pretty new. So it does not yet have a page to view your guest's list. (But we'll get there!) Right now the app is meant to be used as a quick way to send information on the go such as: - BPM Guests - TRAINER REQUEST - Chat (if you are a field trainer the chat page is where you can see appointment requests from other SMDs) - Production - New Recruits

How do I buy tickets for a BIG EVENT?

People use BSCpro to sell tickets to their event. If you are trying to purchase tickets to a specific event, you will need a URL that looks something like: bscpro.com/event/wealthbowl2015 (this is a non-working example) Every event has it's own custom address, so you need to ask the event coordinators what it is to get to your ticket purchase page. They will usually start with bscpro.com/event/... Once you have found it, you simply enter the url in your browser, fill out the form, and enter your credit card information to purchase your tickets and you will receive an email confirmation and receipt.

Why isn't my new recruit showing up on my Recruits Tracker?

Some quick notes: - When a recruit creates their own BSCpro account, they will be added to your recruits list automatically IF they sign up as a Training Associate (TA) - If they don't, then you will have to add them manually by going to Recruits > Add New Recruit - If you try to add them to your recruits and BSCpro says that the code number is already in use, then that means that they are already on the recruits list. They may not be showing up for you. This can be resolved by making sure that the recruits have their direct upline set correctly. More Detail: You can use BSCpro to track your recruits. Some teams call this Speed Filters or just Filters. To be clear on what it does, we just call it the "Recruit Tracker". You may notice that new recruits that join BSCpro are added automatically. This is why we recommend that you make BSCpro one of the first things that a new recruit does when they get coded. When someone creates a new account and selects that they are a Training Associate (TA) then BSCpro will automatically add them to the recruits list. They will show up on your recruit list as long as they have you or someone in your downline set as their direct upline. If for whatever reason, they do not select TA upon signing up, but you want them on your recruits list, you will need to add them manually. You can do that simply by going to Recruits > Add New Recruit. If you get the error message that the code number is already in use, that usually means they are already on the recruit tracker list. But it's possible they aren't showing up on your particular list. Usually, that can be resolved by making sure the new recruit has you or someone in your downline selected as their direct upline. You can confirm this by going to My Organization > Team Roster. If you don't see them there, be sure to click the "Inactive" filter at the bottom of your team roster list to make sure they aren't just marked as inactive. If you still don't see them, then that means they need to correct their direct upline.

How do I print this or export it to excel?

On most pages that have tables of data in BSCpro, you will see a printer icon at the bottom left of the page. When that icon is there, you can click it and you will see a list of the different options for exporting the data. Simply click the desired method and you are done.

Why isn't the production tracker calculating my base shop points correctly?

For a quick summary of the article below, first check the following items: The production tracker can calculate your base shop points on the fly. But there are some caveats that you have to take into account. First, when you add agents to a production entry, you have the option to search and select the agent. These agents already have a BSCpro account so we have their information like SMD upline on file. If you are searching and selecting users in this way, but the baseshop total doesn't come out right, it may be that they have their uplines or map information set incorrectly. Please check to make sure they are on your Team Roster to confirm they have you set as their upline. If you have manually entered a name because they were not in the BSCpro system, then our software assumes they are not in your baseshop and so their points will not get attributed to your base. Click here to read about how to make an adjustment.

Forgot your password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one by going to the login page by clicking "Login" in the top right corner of the page. Or, you can go directly to the password reset page here. Then just enter your username or email address and BSCpro will send you a reset email. Just follow the instructions in the email to reset your password. If you do not receive the email within 10-15 minutes, be sure to first check your spam messages. If it is not there, please contact us. Some mail carriers will on occasion block email by mistake. Using the mobile app In the BSCpro mobile app, tap Forgot My Password on the login screen, enter your username or email, and then check your email for the reset link. Resetting your password in the BSCpro mobile app: tap Forgot My Password on the login screen, enter your username or email, then check your email

Why can't I see my BPM?

If you are an SMD, you need to first setup your BPM schedule. Here are instructions. If you are not an SMD, then please contact your SMD and remind them to setup the schedule. You could even send them the link to the how-to page.

I can't see my team's activity.

The only way the BSCpro software can know who your team is, is if they set you as their upline. You can only see your team (down line) activity if you are an SA or MD user and above. In order to confirm that your team has you selected is their upline, simply go to the My Organization link on the left navigation bar. If they have you correctly selected, you will see their names in your team roster. When new users create their account, they are given the opportunity to select their uplines. They can also go back to their profile at any time by clicking their profile image on the app or on the web. And don't forget to go to the bottom of the list and click "Update Professional Profile" to save changes. Changing it on the web looks something like this:

It's not letting me...

If the app or web is not letting you do something, be sure to send us a message but to speed things up, please include any details you can think of. Be sure to tell us the following: 1. What device are you using, web or mobile? 2. What specific error messages are you seeing, if anything? 3. What else happens when it doesn't let you. 4. If possible, is anyone else in your team having the same problem? 5. Does this happen on a consistent basis or just sometimes? If you will send us that information, we can get back to you with help even quicker.

How do I get my team to show up on the Team Roster/My organization page?

The team roster page is automatically generated based on user signups on BSCpro. If you want your team to show up, have them create a free BSCpro account either on the mobile app or on the website. When filling out their information, they must select you as their Upline SA, MD, SMD, EMD, CEO, or EVC. Team roster is not currently supported for Associate level users but that is coming soon. If an agent has already created their BSCpro account, have them confirm in their profile that you are set as their upline. They can do this on the Profile page on both the mobile app and website by clicking on their profile picture. Changing it on the web looks something like this: One last thing to check is whether they are marked as Inactive. if they are marked as inactive on your list, you can see them by simply clicking the "Inactive" link at the bottom of your team roster. Any agents marked as inactive here will show up. You can then click the star to reactivate them. They will then show up on the active list again.
